AIR Tamil is a radio station in Tamil covering the state of Tamil Nadu. All India Radio (AIR), officially known since 1957 as Akashvani ("Voice from the Sky"), is the national public radio broadcaster of India and is a division of Prasar Bharati. The station basically broadcasts for the Tamil speakers and population. Offering a quality of 48kbps, the radio station playsnational music and entertainment programs for the listeners. Listeners can also get an access to current news and radio interviews that would be interesting to people of different ages.
