Radio media Village 90.8 FM is a Community Radio Station (CRS). This is a type of not-for-profit radio service that serves geographic communities and their interests. Radio Media Village 90.8 FM is the first Community Radio (CR) in Kerala to be dedicated to the community by a Media College. Radio Media Village 90.8 FM is a venture of St. Joseph College of Communication. It is the first University affiliated Media College in South India. Radio Media Village 90.8 FM will bring voice to the voiceless by involving members of the community in the broadcast of programs. The growing importance of the media and the desire of the Archdiocese of Changanassery to form excellent communicators with the right attitude have resulted in the establishment of Media Village. Media Village was dedicated to the nation by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India in order to provide right media vision to all with a well set goal of creating a value based media culture. It is this vision that has resulted in the forming of St Joseph College of Communication, the flagship unit of Media Village."
